Give 85 vulnerable families an education in chicken farming or a similar activity that ensures them a job in the local community. Each family is given the materials, etc. that are needed, as well as a course of 1-2 months duration. With this project, you reach many families with just one donation.

The best way to help poor families is to provide them a source of income. One of the most obvious and successful ways to do this in Zanzibar is to offer a sewing machine and a six-month sewing course for women from disadvantaged families so that they can start their own business and thus support the family.

Help 20 vulnerable families in Zanzibar to get back on their feet and create a healthy and sustainable everyday life for the family. With the right help and support over 12 months, many families can remain a family instead of being split up, and although the village communities are a great alternative to the traditional family model, we work to ensure that as many children as possible can stay in their safe, familiar surroundings and not have to leave their loved ones due to unsustainable economic conditions or other challenges.

As a partner in one of our education projects on Zanzibar, you can ensure schooling, school uniforms and shoes as well as school materials and books for 50 vulnerable children for a year. If you want to help more children it is possible e.g. to double the donation and support 100 children instead.
